86' TRX250 RI've got a 1986 TRX250R. I've done as much as I can to keep it clean and running good. I've got:
Everything else on the machine is the origional stock from the plastic to the front tires, (and the rear but I never really used them anyway). I always used the machine in the sand. The Cylinder has been bored once over, to .50 over I think. I've always ran a high grade premix. First BelRay H2R then redline 2-stroke. The has passed thorugh a few owners in my family. First my brother who currently manages the parts dept. of a Yamaha dealership. My borther in-law purchased it for awhile then sold it to me. When we first purchased it it was so new it still held the origional nipples on all the tires. The origional owner baught it, recked once, parked and it sat in his garage for ten years.�When we got our hands on it it was a gem.� Unfortuanally, as life goes on�we simply don't ride�much anymore. I've held onto it so�long simply because the machine is�still such a gem.
